Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas reckons that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo's overall contribution to the Los Blancos during a match should be considered as equivalent to goals as he always has a say in Madrid's build-up play.

Ronaldo still hasn't opened his account in the La Liga after playing three matches already, which is his worst start to a season since joining Real Madrid from Manchester United. However, Navas believes, Ronaldo's overall contribution is priceless.

Speaking to Marca, Navas praised Ronaldo and said, "[Ronaldo] worked well and defended with all of the team. He assisted when he had the ball and passed to his teammates. These are good pieces of play that should be valued like goals."

Navas also went ahead and praised Isco for yet another amazing display. The Costa Rican goalkeeper said, "He (Isco) is a very important player for us. It's really good to have him in our team."

The shot-stopper also spoke about Real Madrid's 2-0 win against Espanyol and stated,

"A lot of times things don't go as planned.Today we played a good game and I hope there will be more victories."

The Los Blancos will travel to Getafe after the international break on Saturday, 14th October.
